When James texted her saying he needed her, Camille knew the reason and she was happy to hear of it. With Lucy! Of course, it was obvious to everyone that he had a think for the rebel girl who happened to also be her friend and she would be more than happy to do all she could to help James get together with her, thus requiring a little pay back as well. They had discussed over it and James promised her a pair of tickets – though, she would have to bargain with him in order to have a second pair considering that Jo was going to help her with her plans. That girl needed to focus on other things and to move on from Kendall. She knew that her breakup with him was hard on the girl so it would only change her mind to actually get to see other things such as a good show!

They had told each other that they would wait in the little café downtown and since it was lunch time, it would be a good opportunity to catch up on life and also to try to get information on how Logan was doing. She hadn’t gotten the chance to see him much after he began college and she feared that he might actually have forgotten about her or simply started ignoring her because she was too…crazy? Shaking her head at the thought, she ordered a sandwich along with a soda and sat at a table while waiting for James to come in so they could discuss of plans. She already had a few ideas in mind, such as taking Lucy to see her favorite band and what not but first, she had to make sure that he would be willing to do all it took to win her heart and do a few sacrifices.

Sitting around in his apartment, James was dead tired of coming up with different ways to get Lucy to like him. He was at the point that his ideas began melting together and they somehow sounded even worse than when he originally planned them. Pulling out his cellphone, it was time to call for some back up; Camille. If anybody could think of some crazy plan that could work, it was her.

Agreeing to meet at a cafe and get some food inside of his belly, James changed out of his old pajamas and into some fresh and clean clothes. Grabbing his phone, wallet and keys, James made his way out of his apartment and to the cafe. The drive there was only about a fifteen minute drive, which wasn't too bad really. He wasn't going to complain.

Walking in, James had no idea what to eat really. He was just hungry. Ordering a burger with some fries and a drink, he filled it up while his food was being cooked (though it only took a little while to cook it). With his food done, James turned around to look for Camille. She wasn't really too hard to find since he knew he for about four or so years before he left the Palm Woods.

Sitting across from her, James set his tray down onto the table and smiled. "Hey" he said and sat down in the empty chair. "So any ideas?" he asked, eager to finally get Lucy to go out on a date or even be his girlfriend.

Camille began sipping her soda as she noticed James walking in. She smiled slightly but since he would obviously order first, she didn’t stand up to greet him and stayed there, thinking of various plans to help him win Lucy’s heart instead and kept the place for him to come along with her. It would be nice to catch up with him since it had been a while since they have spoken to one and another but she also saw this as an opportunity to have also more news from Logan. It might be selfish but after the split, everything seemed to be going in a strange direction and it wasn’t one that she was fancying about. Things would never be the same anymore and it sucked. Big time….ahah, she was even doing bad jokes about the boys’ band. Shaking her head slightly, she focused for a while on the lines she had to memorize as the role of the sleeping beauty Aurora for the show called Darkly Grimm.

She closed her eyes and tried memorizing the lines and picturing the scene as to how it would happen before she heard James’ voice and opened them up before smiling at him. “Hey,” she began, waiting for him to properly sit down before they would get down to business. “Well, first, Jo is going to help us so I’d say that she deserves a pair of tickets too.” She smiled at the idea, knowing he would understand what it meant. She nodded then at the mentions of ideas she could have for him.

“Lucy loves music, have you thought of taking her to a show of her favorite band?” She asked him, arching an eyebrow. “Jo and I could do a little investigation on her tastes and even if I know a lot of it already, I guess we could find more.” She shrugged at the words. Hopefully her suggestions would be helpful but she still had to figure out a few along with Jo so they would make the match perfect.

James nodded his head. "Okay, one extra ticket for Jo" he repeated and grabbed his phone, making a quick note to grab a ticket for Jo. Taking a bite out of his burger, James nodded as he listened to Camille's plan. A concert, that didn't sound too bad of an idea to him. "I like it" James said after taking a drink of his soda.

Hearing that Camille already had an idea of what Lucy's favorite bands were, James smiled. "Okay so tell them to me!" he said excitedly to her. "You know that way I can listen to them and we can talk about them. And that way I won't be so awkward if we go to one their concerts." James explained. If he went to a concert with Lucy the last thing he wanted was to feel awkward around her.

After taking a few more bites of his food, James looked back at Camille. "Thanks a lot of helping me out. It just seems like nothing I do is working. Like I'm still stuck in the horrible place known as the friend-zone." he explained to her. When she had said that her and Jo could do more investigating, James raised an eyebrow. "How are you going to do that exactly?" he asked her, confused.

Camille was satisfied when James agreed on giving another ticket for Jo; that way, it would be even better to go and see his show! Secretly, Camille was hoping to get Logan to join them and try to rebuild her relationship with him since it kind of drifted away when the band split but they could always bring other guys so that way Jo wouldn’t feel too awkward with a different date from Kendall. She smiled slightly when he agreed with her idea. “I think that the show would be a nice way to start and try to build something strong with Lucy.” She stated.

She downed a bit of her drink before continuing with the explanations she had for James in order to help him to date Lucy; she did think that they would make a cute couple when James would find out the right way to talk to Lucy. “She likes heavy metal and bands like Within Temptation, Avenged Sevenfold, Nightwish, Metallica…that kind of bands, not my favorites but they’re apparently well-known and I think one of them is coming down town in a couple of months.”

She smiled more at James as he thanked her and shook her head. “Not a problem; I really think you two would look cute together.” She chimed happily. “Oh, simple, a little sleepover with me, Jo and Lucy and we can start talking of stuff like boys. As simple as that.” She added with a mischievous grin.

Hearing some of the bands that Lucy was most likely into, James raised an eyebrow at Camille in confusion. To be honest, he had only heard of two of the bands; Metallica (obviously). And Avenged Sevenfold. To be honest over the years James' taste in music had grown and he kind of liked the second band. "Avenged, I've heard of them. They're not bad. I have a few songs on my Ipod actually." James stated. Finishing off his burger, only his drink and fries remained now. Then an idea hit James Diamond. "Uh I don't have to get a tattoo, do I?" James asked, hoping the answer was a major no as he was scared of needles.

Hearing Camille say that he and Lucy would make a cute couple, James smiled. "Well I don't know she doesn't see it. Unless if she likes somebody else or something" James stated. It wasn't like he kept tabs on the rumors if she was 'dating' anybody. "Do you know if she is interested in anybody?" he questioned, once again hoping for a no.

"Really? A sleepover?" James asked her a little confused as he ate a few fries. Could something as simple as a sleepover actually hold so much power? Or was she just teasing him? Sometimes he could never tell really. "So what do you guys do at a sleepover? Only talk about boys?" he asked, now curious about the subject.

Camille was glad that James was willing to make efforts of his own but she knew that Lucy would have to do the same on her side such as letting him in more than she was doing lately. She would have to prepare the girl mentally and to let her know that if she wanted to be with James, she had to give him signs or to kiss him to show him that his efforts weren’t useless. She took a mental note to tell that to her friend next time she would talk to her. Camille knew that Lucy liked James, it was easy to read the girl but she respected her decision into not telling him that yet. If it was her, she would have told James already and told him to make a move and kiss her already but she feared it might ruin their couple before they would even be one. She laughed as he spoke of tattoos. “Don’t be silly, she will like you the way you are, it’s surprising enough she’s hanging out with you and tolerating you.” She said obviously joking.

She smiled even more, trying hard not to tell him about Lucy’s feelings for James. “Don’t worry about it, all good things come to those who wait and one thing for sure, you won’t be too old before she accepts to go out with you.” She mused. Hopefully she would accept to go out with James before he’d be too old or else. Camille shook her head. “I don’t think she’s interested in anyone right now.” She lied, giving him a sweet smile. Telling him that Lucy was interested in James might get his ego bigger than he already was and not only that; she was still trying to keep herself hush about it.

Camille also didn’t mind talking of girls’ mysteries but she wasn’t sure about talking to him of sleepovers were good. They were used most of the time to talk of girls and their personal problems after all. “We do each other’s hair, wear makeup, watch movies and read magazines.” She shrugged, those were only the few things that they would do between girls.
